Meet new people, play plenty of padel and become part of EPA’s growing community! EPA welcomes all students in Rotterdam, from complete beginners to experienced players. Whether you want to play socially, improve your game or compete, you can find your place at EPA.

 

How Membership Works

EPA offers up to four clubnights during a regular playing week. This year, Feyenoord is our year-round indoor location. In the warmer months, we also play outdoors at Victoria and Blijdorp. In the colder months, these outdoor sessions are replaced by indoor sessions at Blijdorp and an additional indoor clubnight at Feyenoord.

 

Each week, we share a sign-up form for the clubnights of the following week. Participation is always optional. Places are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. If all places are taken, you can join the waiting list. There is no extra activity fee for a clubnight.

 

There are no regular clubnights during scheduled breaks, such as the winter break.

More Ways to Play and Connect

As an EPA member, you can also join a wide range of optional activities. Some are free, others require an additional contribution:

• Training blocks: five weekly training sessions for a fixed contribution of €10 per block

• Internal tournaments: a low member fee, the exact price can vary by tournament

• Social events: some are free and others require a small contribution

• KNLTB team competitions: separate participation costs apply

• EPA’s trip to Spain: participants pay the full cost of the trip

• External tournaments: prices are set by the organiser

• Padel Club Rotterdam free-play subscription: choose your own playing time during the available off-peak hours; a separate subscription price applies and more information will follow

 

Your Introduction Period

The first part of the academic year includes additional social events, tournaments and padel opportunities. Some activities are free, while others require a contribution.

 

You can also join our Introduction Weekend! We will stay at a location in the Netherlands and enjoy group activities, shared meals and a full weekend together. A separate participation fee applies.

 

Membership Fees for 2026/2027

To participate in EPA activities, you also need a valid Erasmus Sport Pass.

• EPA membership: €125 for the academic year, including KNLTB membership, the EPA year shirt and clubnights

• Erasmus Sport Pass through EPA: €140 at the reduced association rate

• Total without gym: €265

• Optional Erasmus Sport Pass gym upgrade: €75, bringing the total to €340

If you already have the required Erasmus Sport Pass through another student sports association, you do not need to buy it again and only pay the EPA contribution. EPA takes care of the required administration through the sign-up form.

 

Payment and Renewal

For new members, EPA collects the full membership amount in one direct debit in September. Fees for optional activities are separate.

 

At the end of the academic year, your membership renews automatically unless you cancel it. More than one month before the end of the year, EPA will send you a cancellation form together with the membership fee and conditions for the next year. The message will include the cancellation deadline.
